...Just a sailor with a cause...

At the time of the accident I had been sailing many different parts of the world for 8 years. I constantly struggled with finding a quality dinghy light that could withstand the harsh environment of the saltwater/air, everything on the market was 100+ bucks and would barely last a season due to simple condensation. Most sailors/cruisers can relate and have resorted to a simple headlight. But As I learned the hard way, a headlight, or a flashlight is NOT sufficient.

What if there was a quality affordable product?

In an effort to be the change I want to see in the world, I have taken it upon myself to make the highest quality 100% waterproof dinghy light available at half the cost of others!

Here is my story...

April fools day In 2019 I hopped in my dinghy with a headlight around 7:30pm with intentions to have dinner at the yacht club.

I never made it to the yacht club that night...

I don't remember much, but according to witnesses a 32ft powerboat came close to the mooring field and struck me in the back, launching me into the water and destroying my dinghy. I never heard a thing over the sound of the outboard... I woke up in the hospital with broken ribs, a collapsed lung, tube in my chest, dislocated shoulder, and two ruptured discs in my back resulting in 17 pieces of titanium in my spine... life for me will never be quite the same as before but I'm still here to do something about it!
